The above mentioned Point earnings are per Rs. 100 GPW.
The following example illustrates the opportunity of earning higher points by selling a combination of two or more lines.
If you are currently in the Gold Circle and doing 7.5 lacs GPW on Auto or Travel Insurance, your earnings would be (Rs 7.5 lacs/Rs 100)*11 points = 82,500 Giant Steps Points.
If you diversify into domains like Marine, Property Major, Casualty etc and you do a business of Rs 2 lacs GPW each in Marine and IPA and Rs 3.5 lacs from Auto your earnings would be as follows:
Marine: (2 lacs / Rs 100)*22 = 44,000 Giant Steps Points
IPA : (2 lacs / Rs 100)*33 = 66,000 Giant Steps Points
Auto : (3.5 lacs / Rs 100)*11 = 38,500 Giant Steps Points
Your total earnings would be 1,48,500 Giant Steps Points!
